7 Most Wanted Criminal Minds Of The World

We compiled a list of the world’s seven most wanted fugitives. They have been accused of murder, scams, some of them are leaders of terrorist groups, and thus the most dangerous people in the world.

 

7)  Joaquìn Guzmàn

The world’s most wanted man. Known as El Chapo, or Shorty, he has been extending his control over corridors in Mexico that are being used to smuggle cocaine and marijuana into the U.S. He is believed to be hiding in the mountains of Northwest Mexico in the state of Durango. The DEA believes he is more powerful today than he was two or three years ago.

6)  Ayman al-Zawahiri

Whether he ends up leading Al Qaeda or not, al-Zawahiri is wanted by the U.S. government which indicted him for his role in the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya that killed hundreds of people. He was Osama bin Laden’s former deputy for years. He is viewed as being divisive within Al Qaeda, but now that bin Laden is dead, he is the terror group’s most infamous leader.

5)  Dawood Ibrahim

The head of the Indian crime syndicate D-Company, Dawood is a mafia leader who has been immortalised in the form of innumerable movies in India. He is known to be the man behind the 1993 Mumbai bombing and riots, fast becoming the most wanted man in the world, and he’s basically been on the run ever since.

4)  Omid Tahvili

Tahvili is the kingpin of a Persian crime family in Canada connected to various Triads and other criminal groups. Known as Nino, Tahvili walked out the door of a maximum security prison in British Columbia in November after bribing a guard with the promise of $50,000. He was awaiting sentencing after being convicted of kidnapping and sexual assault. Tahvili, 37, had tortured a relative of someone he suspected stole $500,000 of his drug money. He’s one of the world’s most wanted criminals.

3)  Nasir al-Wuhayshi

Osama Bin Laden’s former secretary, al-Wuhayshi is the leader of Al Qaeda’s powerful affiliate in Yemen, known as Al Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula. He escaped from a security prison in Yemen in 2006 and operates in an unstable country that is perfect for cultivating new recruits and money.

2)  Matteo Messina Denaro

The head of the Italian mafia is trying to survive the Italian police’s historic assault on the world’s most infamous criminal group. In recent months, most of the most-wanted mafia fugitives, like Giorgio De Masi, have been nabbed by Italian police. The Italian mafia’s playboy, Denaro is known for living a fast lifestyle, driving Porches and fancying Rolex watches.

1)  Doku Umarov

The Osama bin Laden of Russia heads the Caucasus Emirate, which aims to establish an Islamic emirate in Southern Russia. He was originally a Chechen separatist, but now he is a full-blown terrorist, having claimed responsibility for terror attacks like the suicide bombings of Moscow subway stations that killed 40 people last year. Government offered around $5million for any information related to Doku. The terrorist hasn’t been found, but there are rumours of his death.
