With the voting day getting closer by the minute, the Democratic and Republican parties going at it, and with the overall chaos of the situation where people believe that none of the two candidates are worthy of the honour that will be bestowed on either one of them, it’s imperative to have a very evident and unbiased view on both the candidates. On one hand we have Hillary Clinton who could possibly be the first woman president of the United States, or Donald Trump, who would be the bane of America if elected. In the spur of the moment and with accusations being held against both candidates, here’s ten of Trump’s political theatrics that prove he is unfit to be the President.
1) Trump says that the beauty about him is that he’s very rich.
Trump strongly believes that the reason he can dominate the other candidates is because he’s very rich. He has mentioned several times that the only way he can overpower others is through the massive empire he’s built (let’s not forget the very small loan from his father) and that he believes money calls for authority. Well Donald, should’ve tried buying some class with all the money you’re talking about.
2) He said that women should be treated like ‘shit’ and should be punished for having abortions.
Donald thinks he has the right to intervene in a woman’s life and make decisions for her. If a family is unable to fend for themselves and cannot welcome a child and give them the healthy environment they need, the parents alone have the right to decide whether they want to extend their family. By making such statements, Trump is promising a violation of privacy and the right that lies with a woman alone. In addition to this, he has defended himself by saying that “Nobody respects women more than I do.” even though he has made lewd comments publicly that he’d date his daughter Ivanka if she wasn’t his daughter and has also called an attorney who requested a break to pump breast milk “disgusting” which is a testament to the fact that Donald Trump does not respect women.
3) Calls for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S.
“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life,” he said.
Americans cannot lose sight of the fact that the vast majority of Islam’s more than a billion followers are peaceful and only a tiny fraction constitutes to the extremists who believe in jihad. Creating a divide between a country and a race will only lead to a war but Trump refuses to acknowledge anything else.
4) He described global warming as a hoax perpetrated by “the Chinese” for competitive reasons.
Donald Trump tweeted that he thinks Global Warming doesn’t exist and later on in the first presidential debate, denied making such a statement. Here’s proof.
5) Repeatedly makes racist comments about Obama and calls Mexican immigrants rapists.
Trump questioned President Obama’s American citizenship, bringing the “birther” campaign into the mainstream. Here’s what he’s been quoted saying. “Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore.” From the beginning days of his campaign, Donald Trump has painted Mexicans as ‘rapists’ and criminals and has promised to deport 16 million people, including children and U.S. citizens. He has said that Mexico must pay for his giant border wall. Even today, he remains committed to the splitting up of families and deportation of millions. Donald is unabashed by the furore his words provoke time and time again, and that is not a quality a President possesses.
6) Compared his “sacrifices” as a businessman with those of parents whose son was killed in a war.
You’re probably thinking ‘He did not!!’ But yes, Donald Trump has insulted veterans by comparing his business success to those who have sacrificed their lives in battle for their country. Trump’s comments reflect the beliefs of his party. Donald Trump is a disgrace, and his “sacrifice” is a joke compared to those who have given the true sacrifice while serving their country.
7) Accused Hillary Clinton of “playing the woman card”
The subtle implication Trump was making was that Clinton somehow has an unfair advantage because she’s a woman.
8) Doesn’t know how many articles are in the Constitution.
Trump has probably read the Constitution. But to go by his public positions, it remains a question whether he understands it. Critics have been consistently astonished by his indifference to the Constitution, as he has launched attacks on the press, on mosques, and on other institutions explicitly protected by the Bill of Rights. He has expressed his admiration for Article 12 of the Constitution, unaware that there are only seven Articles.
9) Said he would force the military to commit war crimes
Mr. Trump has suggested that he’d order the U.S. military to kill families of Muslim terrorists and institute interrogation techniques worse than waterboarding, itself widely condemned as torture. Torture and retaliatory executions are both war crimes under international law.
“They won’t refuse. They’re not going to refuse me,” he said. “If I say do it, they’re going to do it.”
10) Asked people to not feel stupid because he has one of the highest IQ’s
“My IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure; it’s not your fault.” Since he makes so much of IQ, and boasts that his “is one of the highest,” maybe Trump should take an IQ test and release the results. In lieu of tax returns, if he may.
If your opinion on Trump hasn’t changed yet, think of the millions of families that will be asked to leave their homes if he’s elected as President. And those who have,
Don’t boo, guys. Vote.
