The name itself has so much to say. Leh Ladakh is one of the most beautiful places I have seen and it has left an impact on me. I can just say, if traveling is a book, then visiting Leh Ladakh is the most important chapter. In case you are still not convinced, here are 11 of the many reasons why must visit Leh Ladakh :
1) LEH LADAKH’S BEAUTY
It is this raw beautiful place which has some magical quality. It is heavenly. The mountains, the peace and quiet, the people, the air, the adrenaline rush. There is no good reason why we cannot visit it. If you are unmarried, then they say Goa and Leh Ladakh are a must in your bachelor life. You can rent some bikes and go on to the adventure that awaits.
2) TREKKING
If trekking is a hobby or a passion or maybe you want to give it a try, Leh Ladakh has a lot to offer. Those beautiful mountains are calling out to you. Trekking helps you strengthen your body and mind and once you reach on the top, that feeling cannot be expressed.
3) THE MAGNETIC HILL
The magnetic hill constitutes of magnet as a major part of it. It has so much of magnetic power that if you place your vehicle on neutral on the road next to it, it’ll slowly attract the vehicle towards itself. Amazing right !
4) THE PEOPLE
The people over there are beautiful. They are warm and no one treats the tourists as well as they do. You can have bonfire and listen to their stories of the land over a cup of tea in a chilling winter night. The food over there is something you have to try. And it won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
5) PICTURESQUE BEAUTY
The place is so beautiful that you cannot have even one bad picture. The mountains, the clouds, the sun everything paints a perfect picture. You can actually come home with some great shots and be appreciated with minimal effort. Now isn’t that cool.
6) BUDDHIST MONASTERIES
The Buddhist monasteries are a must visit there. Their dedication and discipline are inspiring. You’ll be interested in knowing the history and the details of their culture. The monasteries leave you with peace and you cannot just stop admiring these monasteries.

If you are one of those for whom it’s about the adrenaline rush then LEH LADAKH gives you that. With highly dangerous roads to the hill and steep mountains, from the mighty river to the spine chilling wind, everything here pumps up your adrenaline.

Last time I went to LEH, I met Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar there shooting for some movie. It’s like a cherry on the icing. There are high chances that you might have such pleasant encounters.
I cannot stress enough on the fact that LEH LADAKH is a place to visit at least once in your lifetime or as they say, you have to get leh’d atleast once 😉
